Commissions
I regularly take on commissions for bespoke paintings. The commission sizes range from 60 x 60cm all the way up to 1..5 x 1m but I can also create specific sizes of paintings for you. To get the process started I ask what size of work you would like, what works of mine you would like the piece similar to (if there is an emphasis on a calmer scene or stormier one) and what budget/ timescale you have in mind. Art Workshops
I run drawing and painting workshops outdoors regularly around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland taking groups or on a one to one basis out into the landscape to work in the environment. The workshop involves learning alternative mark making skills, mixed medium techniques and ways in which to paint the landscape in your own style.
I provide all materials and we work with water based substances outdoors. We will paint whilst using the location to fuel the ideas and inspiration for the work produced. I run freelance workshops regularly, if you would like to book onto one please email or contact me through this site and we can discuss dates and a location. The workshops tend to be from 10-4 and my day rate is £300. The workshops are flexible and catered to you so it can be one day, a few days or a week, I cater each of them to what the client would like to learn and gain from the experience.
Studio Appointments
Please do get in touch with me to book a time to come and visit my studio which is part of my home workshop on the Isle of Skye. You will be able to see my process, behind the scenes of the creation of the work and have a chance to browse my originals and prints in person.
